This is just too funny not to share. China, my lab, is completely and totally in love with her giant red horse ball. It’s her favorite toy in the world. I finally got a bit of very rough video of her playing with it. Watch two things — her tail, which says that she’s the proudest dog in the known universe — and her focus. Nobody is going to keep her away from her ball!
Bear in mind that this is a dog who could barely walk 4 years ago because of her oddball bone and joint issues. (You can read some of posts in the dog stories and natural remedies sections to learn about her story and what it took to get her back to the place where she can play again.) So I can’t begin to tell you what a delight it is to see her running like a puppy and fully enjoying life. She’s 8 years old now and, for the most part, is the happiest dog in the world when she gets her favorite toy.
You can almost see the little beams of joy flying off of her, can’t you?
