Mallard Squeaker Mat
If your dogs are like mine, they go wonky for squeaker toys. Some of the coolest squeaker toys I’ve seen in a long time are made by Kyjen (the folks who make the well-respected Outward Hound brand of travel gear for dogs). These seriously cool toys have an entire mat of squeakies – 16 of ‘em! So if your dog destroys a squeaker in the first five minutes, you can rest assured they’ve got 15 more squeakers to find and play with.
They come in assorted styles that are hilariously funny and cute – everything from an alligator to a confused looking mallard duck (shown here on the right). I like them because they’re big. My dogs love to shake them around, prance around the house, and then get down to some serious squeaker hunting. These toys keep Chelsea (my border collie mix) occupied for hours – and she’s a chomper!

Among other styles, they’ve got a penguin, a mallard, a bright pink pig (shown on the left), a black-and-white checked cow, an alligator, and a monkey. These are great toys!
If you’ve got a dog that squeaker-crazed and you’re tired of giving them expensive new toys every five seconds, these are definitely worth checking out. Personally, I just love ‘em – and so do my dogs.
