One of my favorite manufacturers is West Paw Design. This is a U.S.-based company located in Bozeman, Montana and all of their products are produced in the U.S. They have developed some of the most innovative pet products around. They’re an eco-friendly company with a focus on using as many recycled materials as possible. Their toys are unique, very safe, and incredibly durable.
Zisc Flying Dog Disc
Their dog toys are made out of an innovative product called Zogoflex that is made from 90% recycled materials. These toys last, and last, and last. The Tux is a great multi-purpose toy that can be used as a toss toy, a tug toy, or can be filled with goodies to keep your pup occupied.
They have another great ball called a Huck that bounces in all kinds of interesting directions, is nice and heavy, and floats! If you’ve got a retrieving dog, it’s one of the best toys around. Their Zisc is a flying disc that floats, can be thrown accurately for long distances, but is soft enough that it is often used by dogs as a shake toy. They have a simply fabulous time with these things.

West Paw Design also makes wonderful dog beds out of recycled materials that are soft, comfortable, and absolutely safe for your dog. In fact, some of the beds have organic fiber covers to ensure there are no toxins to be found. Most (but not all) of the beds offered on The Camping Dog Supplies site are from West Paw simply because their quality is so amazing.
My two dogs love the West Paw Design products. Some mornings, they grab a Tux and have a time chasing each other around for it. China, my lab, loves to play with Zisc — she likes that flop and that she can chase as a flying disc. And the beds are just wonderful. I highly recommend these folks – their products durable, well made, and healthy for both your dog and the planet!
